The Army asked him to attend West Point Military

Academy. He served in Germany, Japan, and Korea with the 7th

Infantry Division and earned a Combat Infantry Badge.

He married Phyllis Fairlie on May 12,1954, in Buffalo.

He was a heck of a car salesman and worked at Western Auto in

California, Hammers Chevrolet, and at his own car dealership,

Locke’s Used Cars, in Sheridan.

He owned and operated Air Jordan 1 The Burger Wagon from 1992 to 1999 when he

hung up his apron Jordan 1 Retro and went to work for PJ Kane at Air Jordan Future Kane Funeral Home

where he was employed until the time of his death.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 43, the York Rite, the

Kalif Shrine, the Elks Lodge 520, Air Jordan CDP the Kiwanis, Air Jordan 9s and was on the

Sheridan WYO Rodeo Executive Board.
