My son is a very loving kid, smart, intelligent, and have talents with his imagination, but he doesnt speak and he is 3 years old, he is excellent sorting colors and I think he loves yellow, he is very creative, but in the learning aspect he is lacking of interest and talent. I dont want to teach him sign language because I want to make him have a reason to talk, but sometimes I just cant say what he wants or what is going on with him. All I can say is that is not easy for mothers that are trying to figure it out whether your child has a disability or not, and when you already convince yourself, is hard to accept it and see your child struggling so young. As parent we want our children to be more than normal, to be perfect, but they are perfect just they way they are.
